Description
Considering the challenges and chaos that are rampant in our world today, it is important that we find our still center. The ability to relate skillfully to what is happening in the world grows out of our dharma and meditation practice. We find the tools to be able to navigate the storm with wisdom and an open heart.
Our ability to access our still center, which is always there, is an important factor in the development of equanimity and skillful action. Resting in our still center allows the ‘worry and flurry’ of our minds to settle so we can see our present moments experience clearly and relate to it skillfully with kindness and compassion.
During our retreat, instruction and practice in Vipassana and Pure Awareness meditation within the container of Nobel Silence will help us to find our still center and to rest in it, opening us to a deeper experience of ease, insight and peace. The retreat is being held at Maryville Retreat Center, a beautiful facility that is spacious, quiet and conducive to the kind of practice we are doing. People of all levels of experience are welcome to join us!
There is no higher happiness than peace.
