Description

This class is designed for those who are dedicated to deepening their experience of the Dharma and moving further along the path. The class content will contain practices and explanations, informed by Celeste’s nearly 30 years of Vipassana study and practice under Aaron and Barbara.

Vipassana means “clear seeing,” and its practice helps us develop the skill of focus. In this class, we will use our increasing focus and spaciousness to deepen our ability in the moment to know our experience.

We will begin to more clearly see the self-identification with our karmic arisings and the conditions which come together to form a moment. We will witness the sense of solid self become more tenuous and the resultant awakening to Presence, discerning mundane from supramundane consciousness.

As part of a path of service, we will learn to investigate and transmute objects of mind right then and there in any conscious wakeful moment. Sacred darkness will more clearly be seen as nondual expression, and our true nature as spaciousness and Light will begin to come into view.

What to Expect
The group will be small to enable personal contact. Once you register, you will receive a survey to complete so that Celeste can get to know you.

1. First Monday of each month: group meeting, with homework assignments to explore
2. Week 2: report back on experiences by the end of the week via email, WhatsApp, text, etc.
3. Week 3: one-on-one meetings, practices continue
4. Week 4: to be determined

There will be DSC archived transcripts and other content to familiarize yourself with on the Dharma teachings from Barbara and Aaron, many of which will be provided to you. The class will end December 23.
